Desire Yameogo
Desire Yameogo has more than 25 years of experience managing USDA, USAID, MCC, World Bank projects in West and Central Africa, including program design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and overall management of education programs including several Food for Education programs. He is the technical delivery director for the Sahel region and also serves as the chief of party for Counterpart International in Mauritania, where he manages the McGovern-Dole Food for Education and Child Nutrition project. Yameogo provides overall management, including technical leadership and financial oversight, and manages a staff of 52. Previously, he served as chief of party in Burkina, Senegal, Cameroon, and Mali where he managed McGovern–Dole Food for Education programs and USAID and UNICEF Projects. He benefited from school feeding as child and is proud to manage today McGovern-Dole projects that help making the difference for thousands of children in Mauritania.
