Lida Nadery Hedayat joined Counterpart in 2021 as associate director of the Global Women in Management Program (GWIM). Lida brings a wealth of experience in youth and women’s empowerment and gender equity advocacy, having served as chief of party for the Women’s Leadership Development Program, a personal development and leadership mentoring program that engaged over 30,000 young Afghan women.

In her role, Lida Hedayat will lead and further the GWIM program, which, through equipping women with leadership skills, woman-to-woman coaching, and grants has bolstered to date over 1,000 women leaders and business owners in 77 countries. In addition, Hedayat’s expertise and perspective in gender program design will enhance Counterpart’s suite of technical offerings across its existing portfolio of work.
