Jonathan Rucks serves as Chief of Staff at Counterpart International, where he works closely with the President and CEO to strengthen organizational performance, align leadership teams, and ensure the organization is positioned to deliver on its strategy. He connects strategy, operations, and communications to drive clarity and momentum across the organization.

With more than 20 years of experience, Jonathan specializes in strategic planning, organizational leadership, and navigating complex change. He has led high-impact initiatives that improve how organizations operate, align teams, and deliver results, particularly during periods of growth and transition.

Prior to joining Counterpart, Jonathan served as Chief of Staff at John Snow, Inc. (JSI) and FP2030, where he led major strategic and operational initiatives to strengthen organizational effectiveness and global collaboration. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles in advocacy and communications at the Eleanor Crook Foundation, PAI, and Pathfinder International, advancing policy and funding priorities in global health and development. He began his career in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he worked on domestic and international policy issues.
