Meredith Morrison is a director in Control Risks’ Business Intelligence Practice for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), where she leads strategic intelligence work to help clients identify, evaluate, and capitalize on opportunities responsibly and successfully. She leverages Control Risks’ global reach and deep intelligence expertise to guide decision-making around market entry, acquisitions, growth strategy, and third-party risk management.
An experienced strategic advisor, Meredith counsels private market investors, lenders, senior government officials, corporates, and legal professionals on investment strategy, intelligence gathering, political and country risk, sanctions and foreign investment screening, and transaction due diligence.
Her career spans foreign policy, strategy consulting, and business intelligence, including advising senior officials at the Council on Foreign Relations and the Clinton Foundation, supporting institutional investor clients at McKinsey & Company in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and leading the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) practice for a UK-based intelligence firm. She has also built an independent consulting portfolio helping global clients navigate complex MENA markets. Meredith has lived and worked extensively throughout the region, including in Lebanon, the UAE, Jordan, and Egypt.
