Lianne Romahi serves as Vice President of Global Partnerships and Solutions at Counterpart International, where she leads efforts to expand strategic partnerships and position the organization for growth across priority markets. She works to connect local partners with global opportunities, developing scalable solutions that deliver locally owned and sustainable impact.

Lianne brings deep expertise in business development, partnership building, and program design. She has led complex proposal efforts and strategic capture across U.S. government and multilateral funding streams, while also drawing on field experience to shape practical, locally grounded solutions. Her work bridges strategy and implementation, ensuring that partnerships translate into results on the ground.

Earlier in her career, Lianne worked across the Middle East on community-based initiatives and co-founded a social enterprise, Fair Trade Jordan, supporting local producers and market access. It was at this time that she recognized the importance of developing partnership-based solutions that were viable in the marketplace to ensure local ownership and sustainability.
