The WomenLead Institute
Investing in women as leaders, managers, and decision makers: The WomenLead Institute helps women maximize their leadership potential while promoting gender equality and advancing sustainable community development.
WLI Workshops foster personal and professional growth through highly-participatory and experiential learning methodologies and by creating safe and enabling learning environments for self-reflection, peer-to-peer learning, and skills advancement.
Woman-to-Woman Coaching connects emerging women leaders with coaches for a year of professional development and networking. WLI coaches, themselves alumnae of our programs, support their clients to apply new knowledge and skills, guide them to identify solutions to work-related challenges, and champion their efforts to set and strive for goals.
Small Grants help to address funding obstacles facing local community-based organizations. The small grants program helps alumnae access resources to multiply their program results and develop new and stronger grant management skills.
Networking with and among alumnae and other Counterpart partners is forged and sustained through private online groups, country and regional networks, and newsletters.
Together with our local partners, we are improving health and nutrition, expanding access to education, strengthening climate resiliency, enhancing people’s livelihoods, and ensuring communities are governed more inclusively. In each project, we track our goals, monitor the progress, and evaluate impact.
