As Director of the WomenLead Institute (WLI) at Counterpart International, Jennifer Albee brings to the Counterpart Network’s women’s leadership initiatives, 20 years of experience designing, implementing, managing, and evaluating capacity development programs for a wide variety of audiences. She specializes in participatory, learner-centered interventions, primarily for women NGO leaders from around the world. She works with subject matter experts to develop high-quality curricula and capacity strengthening materials and approaches on the individual and organizational level, and assists local partners to transfer training and capacity development skills and tools.

Prior to her work with WLI, Jennifer worked for the United States Peace Corps managing capacity development programs for overseas staff and Volunteers at Peace Corps headquarters in Washington, D.C. and in the field. She served as the Director of Programming and Training for the Peace Corps in Panama where she oversaw a diverse portfolio of community development programs. Over her career, Jennifer has managed programs in the non-profit, private, and public sector, domestically and abroad. She has lived and worked in countries throughout Latin America, Asia, Africa and Europe. Jennifer is trained in Co-Active Coaching and Co-Active Leadership from the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), is a LUMA Institute Human-Centered Design Certified Practitioner, and is an Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) Qualified Administrator.
