Our Story
In 1965, our founders Betty Bryant Silverstein and Father Stan Hosie, started an organization to help at-risk communities in the South Pacific because they believed in the right and ability of all people to drive their own destinies.
55 years later, Counterpart continues to partner with individuals, organizations, and networks — our counterparts — in program countries around the world.
