Jharna Akhter wanted to improve her community’s access to fresh water. Through our Promoting Advocacy and Rights project, Akhter, a youth leader in Ward 5 of Khulna, Bangladesh, participated in leadership and advocacy trainings that set her on the path to becoming a civic champion.
