The Open Government Partnership & Counterpart International

The Open Government Partnership (OGP) is a global multi-stakeholder initiative that aims to secure concrete commitments from national governments to promote transparency, empower civil society, fight corruption and harness new technologies to strengthen governance. Since 2011, Counterpart International has directly supported the OGP initiative in Latin America under its existing USAID-funded projects. As a leading development organization, Counterpart shares OGP’s values: promoting transparency, constructive dialogue, and collaborative partnership around the world.
