Counterpart International is excited to announce a new partnership with the Reiff Center for Human Rights and Conflict Resolution at Christopher Newport University.
This spring, Reiff Center students will have a unique opportunity to publish blog entries on Counterpart’s website that will provide policy recommendations on topics important to countries in Counterpart’s program portfolio as well as the opportunity to receive guidance on future careers in international development.
In the spring 2019 semester, the blogs will focus on Afghanistan and Bangladesh, exploring key socio-political challenges – from youth radicalization to extremism, to violence against women and the effects of water logging. Each blog will consider civil society and governments’ role in addressing challenges, considering policies currently implemented along with gaps, and provide recommendations for how the international development community can better support reforms. The blog series will launch at the end of January.
