Join Counterpart International and our partners, Chemonics International and the National Democratic Institute (NDI), for an interactive peer learning session for international Open Government Partnership (OGP) implementers.
The launch of the OGP’s 2018 Strategic Thematic Partnerships model creates exciting opportunities for international implementers to provide more direct support to the OGP initiative globally. Collaboration, coordination, and peer learning are important first steps in establishing best practices for international implementers working effectively in OGP around the world. Counterpart, Chemonics International, and NDI invite you to this strategic working session to discuss our collective support of OGP abroad and lay the foundation for a DC-area working group of international OGP implementers.
This session will feature brief presentations by Counterpart, Chemonics International, and NDI on their experiences supporting OGP initiatives, followed by interactive breakout discussions to explore practical examples and lessons learned on supporting OGP during the co-creation process and the implementation of National Action Plans, and how to support OGP through other initiatives, such as Open Parliament, Open State, and Research Initiatives. The topics for the breakout discussions will be announced later and tailored to the interests of the participants. The learning from these discussions will be captured in a report and shared with OGP. It will also serve as discussion framework for the DC-area working group.
