During the OGP Global Summit in Tbilisi, Georgia, Counterpart International, in partnership with the National Democratic Institute and Chemonics International, held a working session for international implementers supporting OGP. The purpose of the session was multifaceted: a) Share our respective experience supporting OGP through existing projects, b) Identify other implementers supporting OGP and establish a Working Group, and c) Apply collaborative and coordinated support and learning in support of OGP.
Counterpart International welcomes you to the launch of the working group at the Open Gov Hub, a natural fit for the type of initiative this will be. This will be ideal event for international implementers, donors, and actors working in the Open Government Partnership space.
At the launch, Counterpart will present the concept of the Working Group and the information collected from the session in Tbilisi. We will also open the floor to those implementers who couldn’t be with us in Georgia, to learn from them and their experiences supporting this initiative.
The launch will take place at the Open Gov Hub (1110 Vermont Ave NW #500, Washington, DC) from 12:30 – 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 16th.
