Thank You for a Groundbreaking Event

Representatives from more than 250 civil society organizations joined regional and international experts in Lilongwe, Malawi for presentations and discussions on innovative approaches to improve organizational capacity and service delivery. For two days, June 9 – 10, 2016, each of the 400 civil society representatives had the chance to engage with CSO leaders from around the world. Many thanks to our speakers and to everyone who participated for contributing your experience, passion, and ideas!

The Working Together for Malawi Conference was part of the Supporting The Efforts of Partners (STEPS) program, a United States Agency for International Development (USAID) 5-year initiative in Malawi, implemented by Counterpart International. STEPS is a partnership-based program striving to strengthen the organizational and technical capacities of CSOs in Malawi so they can tackle the social, economic, and environmental challenges that undermine the Malawian people’s futures.
