Civil Society
Partnership

Partnership and the formation of strategic alliances is at the core of Counterpart International's approach to providing Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) access to best practices in a range of civil society interventions.

Counterpart International (Counterpart) offers access to best practices in civil society interventions such as legal and regulatory reform, media, local government strengthening and service delivery. International partners, including the International Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ICNL), the Urban Institute and Internews, are examples of such partnerships.

Counterpart has created networks of local partner organizations in seven countries of the South Pacific, all five countries of Central Asia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Afghanistan, Bulgaria and Egypt. Through these partnerships Counterpart has been able to foster the institutional infrastructure needed for civil society and community-driven development.
