2008 Annual Report

Dear Friends,
 
I hope you find this 2008 Annual Report as informative and inspirational as I do.  The report highlights some of Counterpart International's most interesting work from around the world.  Yet, while it highlights a number of great programs it represents just the tip of the iceberg of the work of this strong and effective organization. 
 
As you may have already heard, I took on the role as President and CEO of Counterpart International in November of 2008.  I have come to this position with more than twenty years of non-profit management experience, most recently as the Acting CEO of The Nature Conservancy.  I have been immensely impressed with all that Counterpart has accomplished, both since its inception in 1965 and more specifically in 2008. 
 
While the success stories in the annual report give me hope, I am always mindful of how much there is still to do.  The support of our donors and partners allows us to continue to do our part, thank you for your help.  I look forward to updating you on our progress as we make our way through 2009!
